| The 2008 Reunion will be held at the Comfort Inn and Business Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The room rate will be $75.00 + 8% Tax per night/per room. The hotel will extend the group rate three days prior and three days after the official reunion dates (July 24th - July 27, 2008). This includes free complimentary breakfast. There are many things to see and do in the area, so come early or stay later. We have blocked 30 rooms with king beds, non smoking. You have 24 hours prior to check in to cancel your reservation. The rooms will be released to the public 30 days prior to reunion dates, so please make your reservation soon. You can make your reservations now. | Reunion Itinerary Wednesday, July 23 - For those of you who are interested, John and Kay have extended an invitation for a get-together at their home at 6 PM. Thursday, July 24 - First official day of the reunion. Check in and pick up your welcome package in the Hospitality Room. Become familiar with the area, have lunch at one of the many nearby restaurants, and again we meet in the Hospitality Room during the day. Thursday evening at 6 PM, John and Kay Shook will be hosting a Welcome Home Cookout at the Moose Lodge where John is a member. The menu is grilled ribeye steak or chicken breast with baked potato, vegetable, salad, and dessert for only $12.00 per person. Friday, July 25 - We have a trip planned to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum. This will be an all-day event. Bring your camera and walking shoes, Greenfield Village is an 81-acre 19th and 20th centuries historic complex with much to see and do. Again, we meet in the Hospitality Room Friday evening. Saturday, July 26 - With all the attractions in the area, we will probably split up into small groups so folks can pick out different places they want to see. Your welcome package will list many of these places. Our Saturday evening banquet will be held at Sidetrack / Frenchie's Restaurant. Social hour 6:00 PM, Dinner 7:00 PM.
