Some Are Honored To Fill This Hall - Others To Raise The Roof
Just before leaving the museum, Robert Macun, a volunteer  for the Country Music Hall of Fame  and Museum with 6 years service of over 4500 hours at the museum, came up to me and looked at my name badge.  He asked
me where I was stationed in Vietnam.  After telling him, he said
he was also in Vietnam during 1968 and 1969 with the 11th ACR.  He worked out of the Bien Hoa area.  He then told me he was 44 years old at the time. Wow, I
said, I'll bet you were probably in the Korean War too.  He said, as a matter of fact, I was.  He
then continued to tell me about his volunteer work with the museum, and how his son-in law, Farron Young has made it possible
for him to work at the museum. After a little more conversation, he casually told me he was also a WWII
veteran.  Needless to say, it was quite an honor to shake his hand and thank him.
