The photos below were sent to me from my good friend Frank Carletta. We both were in the 154th at the same time. We got together for a weekend after  not seeing each other for
almost 33 years. It was great. Frank, thank you for sending the photos.
Photos From Frank Carletta
Frank Carletta 154 TC - In Front of Maintenance Building at Newport
Far right- me-Al Furtado; far left-Jinx (the old man ) he was 26 at the time. Don't remember the other two names. I think that's what bothers me the most. Not remembering names. The sun was blinding us when Frank took this photo.  I'm sure you can tell.
Water Treatment Plant on Highway #1
Jeep Parked in Front of 71st BN Maint Building - The building in the background, which at the time I remember being called the Communications Center, was later also the Cargo Accounting Building and 71st Bn HQ. The photo to the right, the resting ARVN soldier, was at the entrance
to the ARVN National Cemetery which was on the west side of Highway 1 between Thu Duc intersection and the Dong Hai Bridge south of
Long Binh and south of the rock quarry on the way to Newport.
