My name is George Boner. I was CO of the 368th TC from Feb-Aug 1969. I was already familiar with the 71st Bn area inasmuch as I looked at it daily from my office at 1st Log Command. Coming to live at Camp Camelot was a real change in living conditions. From hot and cold running water, air conditioning, and a no dust working environment, it took a day or two to adjust. This said, I found morale to be high and the officers and men of the 368th doing a fine job. Bn CO was LTC Lloyd, later replaced by LTC Carr. Having split living and work sites made for some interesting challenges, and the men of the 368th coped well. I was honored to be their CO. I continued my career as a TC officer and retired in 1980. Hope you enjoy my pictures.
